From Superforecasting, I’m biased to think that in the geopolitical realm, one can't really make predictions beyond ~5 year timespan. A huge amount of generalizing goes on in these big history / big future books, but are still enjoyable. but one can pick out important structures for what's happening in the world. The Accidental Superpower, has a more America First View. Some similar books that have a similar flavor that I've gone through are Sapiens, The Next 100 Years, Generations, the Sovereign Individual, Energy and Civilization.
